Fountain House | Cape Mental Health Society
Health project
Fountain House is a vocational preparation centre for adults with psycho-social disabilities. It is divided into four working areas (so-called units): Administration, Workshop, Employment and Catering.

Included in society
The aim is the psychosocial rehabilitation of the programme participants, i.e. the reintegration of the members into society and the taking up of employment.
What you can expect
As a volunteer, you will work closely with a colleague from one of the four units. This way, everyone can work in the field they enjoy the most. In the afternoons, you have the opportunity to come up with your own programme for the members and carry it out. There are no limits to your creativity. You can structure your weekdays yourself and thus have a direct influence on your everyday life as a volunteer.
