Program coordination with executive activities
We are looking for a full-time employee (40 hours / week) for the coordination of the program work (especially coordination of the weltwärts program), as well as for executive activities of the association.
Your tasks
Program coordination weltwärts
- Communication with the sponsor BMZ / Engagement Global
- Control of funding, accounts, use of funds
- Supervision and support of other staff members in program implementation (e.g. selection of volunteers, seminar work)
- Communication and close coordination with the SAGE Net team in South Africa
Executive activities
- Development of further business areas and project ideas and their implementation
- Initiation of fundraising activities and marketing coordination
- Supervision and support of the association members and the (volunteer) network
- Implementation of association communication (newsletter, website, etc.)
- Office organization and co-organization of (digital) cooperation in the associations
- Support of the association's board and co-organization of the cooperation of the German and South African structures
- Budget planning and business management of the association
Your requirement profile
They have a degree or training suitable for the tasks. You also have business management skills and experience in budgeting and budget planning. You are motivated to help shape a dynamic association and bring a high degree of independence and self-organization. In addition, you like to work in a team and are keen on developing ideas together.
Especially important is a strong competence in structuring processes and organizations, as well as a high reliability and active communication. You have intercultural competences and experience in the field of development cooperation in the sense of Agenda 2030. Your German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are very good. You are proficient in the use of common PC programs.
Experience in program coordination with BMZ and Engagement Global
(e.g. FEB, weltwärts) is an advantage, as well as a thematic relation to South Africa, the exchange of youth groups and development education.
