Your internship in Berlin

Would you like to do an internship in Berlin, gain an insight into the work of the association and support our coordinators in the office?

We are looking for you and your commitment as a motivated intern from 1 June.

What awaits you

You will get an insight into the work with volunteers and experience the daily tasks of the weltwärts programme. Furthermore, you will be involved in the preparation and implementation of seminars, in addition to supervising the future volunteers. Additionally, you will support the team in administrative tasks. In our working groups you can set your own priorities (e.g. fundraising, communication, project and host family search), get actively involved and implement your ideas together with other committed volunteers. In the SAGE Net office in Berlin-Charlottenburg, a small team with flat hierarchies awaits you.

What our interns say

My colleagues were very open to me from the first day and were not afraid to involve me in the internal processes of the organisation and to answer all kinds of specific questions. As I was a North-South volunteer at SAGE Net myself at the time, an internship was the perfect opportunity for me to get to know the organisation better and to feel strengthened in my decision to volunteer at SAGE Net.
Lola Krapohl
For me, it was the perfect opportunity to use my previous knowledge and experience as a volunteer and to work together with the office team on new ideas as well as on maintaining old structures. The insight into all the work behind such a volunteer service, from coordination, financing and support to the verification of the association and its quality, was very enriching for me.
Leonie Zondler
Despite the fact that my internship took place during the Corona pandemic and many things probably went a little differently than normal, it was a great insight! I especially appreciated the team and environment, which is very familiar and personal due to its small size. I was very warmly welcomed and involved from the beginning and was otherwise able to work very independently.
