We are looking for you and your commitment as a motivated intern from 1 June.

What awaits you

You will get an insight into the work with volunteers and experience the daily tasks of the weltwärts programme. Furthermore, you will be involved in the preparation and implementation of seminars, in addition to supervising the future volunteers. Additionally, you will support the team in administrative tasks. In our working groups you can set your own priorities (e.g. fundraising, communication, project and host family search), get actively involved and implement your ideas together with other committed volunteers. In the SAGE Net office in Berlin-Charlottenburg, a small team with flat hierarchies awaits you.

Requirements for our interns

  • Enjoy organising and working in an international context with volunteers
  • Ability to think and create actively
  • Strong communication skills and empathy for the concerns and issues of volunteers
  • Interest in working in one or more working groups
  • Interest in exchange with South Africa
