Dear colleagues, partners and friends,
We, the board of SAGE Net Germany, hereby inform you about the withdrawal from the weltwärts program. For the last 15 years SAGE Net has been sending young people to South Africa and Germany as volunteers. Together we learned, studied and moved, friendships were made and our network grew rapidly.
After a long time of thinking, discussing and planning during the last months, we have now decided to withdraw from the weltwärts program. However, the connections between South Africa and Germany will remain. Our weltwärts projects in South Africa will be handed over to VIA e.V., so that weltwärts volunteer services can be carried out in the projects in South Africa in the future.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the last few years of cooperation, that we have all shared together. Together we have gone through wonderful and difficult, energy-sapping times.
We wish you all the best for the future. Together we grow.
